We would like to thank our donors and volunteers for a very successful year. The Fall 2007 campaign drew to a close in early January 2008 when the Board announced that our goal of $220,000 had been reached. We are very fortunate to live in this community comprised of dedicated, caring and giving individuals that look out for their neighbors by supporting the local United Way campaign. Through these generous gifts the Callaway County United Way will fund 14 local agencies during 2008. These agencies will provide over 200 programs and services to nearly 10,000 people in Callaway County. The United Way has established levels of giving to honor our dedicated donors. We would like to recognize the thousands of Callawegians that made their contribution through their company's employee campaign. Payroll deductions make up nearly 64% of our campaign each year. We would also like to recognize the students of Callaway County for their efforts during the annual penny drive. The students raised $11,567.74 during the Fall 2007 campaign! Finally, a special recognition to Zimmer Radio Group and Fulton Graphics for their in-kind donations.
