Who We Are

The Callaway County 4-H is a youth development organization. Our mission is to engage youth as valued, contributing members of their communities in partnership with caring adults. Our vision is a world in which youth and adults learn, grow and work together for positive change. 4-H is for all youth in both rural and urban settings. 4-H is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States. 4-H youth programming results in competent, capable caring and contributing youth.

What We Do

Callaway County 4-H is a club-based organization. Youth between the ages of 5-18 select one of 8 clubs in Callaway County. Youth work with adult volunteers to select hands-on project from aerospace to beef, and crocheting to woodworking. Youth engage in at elast six hours of project work with a screened and trained adult volunteer. Our organization also provides leadership opportunities to youth as they serve as club officers, and attend camps and trips to better develop these skills. Callaway County 4-H serves more than 150 youth and 100 volunteers.
